  • How does the custom design process work?

    Our process begins with a complimentary consultation to understand your vision, preferences, and budget. Once we align on design direction, we provide CAD mockups, renderings, and 3D previews upon request. We will not proceed until you are 100% satisfied with the design’s blueprint! After approval, we source your diamonds and/or gemstones and production begins. You’ll receive regular updates throughout, and your finished piece is delivered securely to your door or available for private pickup.

  • Can I use my own diamond or heirloom stone?

    In most cases, absolutely. We’re happy to design around your existing stone, subject to an inspection to ensure it's structurally sound. Please note that SDG Private Client is not liable for damage to client-supplied stones during setting or production.

  • How long does the process take?

    Custom projects typically take 4–6 weeks from deposit to delivery. This may vary depending on the complexity of the design, stone sourcing, and responsiveness during approvals. We also offer expedited service in select cases.

  • What is the payment structure?

    A non-refundable deposit is required upon CAD design approval prior to sourcing stones or casting precious metals. The remaining balance is due prior to final production or shipment. We accept wire transfer, major credit cards, and secure digital payment methods.

  • Can I see the stone before committing?

    Yes. We offer high-resolution videos, 360° scans, or in-person viewings (by appointment) for most diamonds and gemstones. You’ll have the opportunity to review and approve your stone selection before production begins.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes. We ship fully insured worldwide. International clients are responsible for any duties, VAT, or import taxes. All shipments require adult signature upon delivery.

  • Can I return or exchange my custom piece?

    Due to the made-to-order nature of our work, all custom pieces are final sale. For select in-stock pieces, however, we do offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. Additionally, we offer complimentary resizing (on eligible designs) and post-purchase care, including inspections and cleanings.

  • Do you offer cleaning or repairs?

    Yes. All SDG pieces include complimentary cleaning, stone-tightening, and inspections. For damage, resizing, or other repairs, we’re happy to provide a quote. Please contact us to initiate a service request.

  • Where are you located?
